The Marilyn Ring – Sterling Silver
This timeless sterling silver keepsake ring features a handcrafted bezel, beautifully wrapped with a delicate braided wire. Each bezel is carefully filled with your most meaningful inclusion—be it breastmilk, ashes, fabric, or another personal element. Designed to be both elegant and meaningful, this ring is inspired by my husband's grandma Marilyn, as she is the one who inspired me to turn this ring design into a keepsake ring. It's bold and beautiful just like her!
The stone size is 12x16mm
Crafted with care and intention, this design stands beautifully on its own or can be paired with your favorite stacking bands to create a look that’s uniquely yours. Please note: stacking rings are sold separately.

What Happens After You Order
After your order is placed, we will prepare and ship your collection kit within 3–5 business days.
For U.S. orders, your kit will include everything needed to safely send your materials back to us, along with a prepaid return label for your convenience.
Once your materials arrive at our studio, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your turnaround time will officially begin.
Materials Needed
We only require a very small amount of your keepsake:
- Ashes: Approximately 1 teaspoon (or less, we can work with even a tiny amount)
- Breastmilk: 5 mL (fresh or previously frozen, at any age)
Sending “Other” Inclusions
For alternative keepsakes such as hair, flowers, fabric, sand, soil, or similar items, a collection kit is not provided.
Please mail your inclusions in a small sealed bag inside a padded envelope to the address in your order confirmation email.
Examples:
- A few strands of hair
- One petal per flower color (fully dried to prevent mold)
- A small piece of fabric or other meaningful material
If you are unsure whether your item can be included, please email us prior to sending.
International Orders
At this time, we are unable to provide collection kits or return labels for international orders. Please follow the “Other Inclusions” instructions above for sending your materials.
Turnaround Time
Each piece is made by hand with intention and care.
Current turnaround time: 2–3 months from the date your materials are received.
Materials & Quality
Your piece is crafted using gold-filled, sterling silver, or solid 14k gold chosen for both beauty and durability.
Our preservation process creates a high quality, water resistant stone designed to last for years to come. While durable, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals and rough wear to preserve its brilliance over time.
A polishing cloth is included to help you care for your piece.
Ring Sizing
This ring is not resizable.
If you’re unsure of your size, we highly recommend adding a ring sizer to your order. If included, we will wait to begin your piece until your size is confirmed.
In some cases, minor adjustments (up to ~½–1 size) may be possible. Please reach out if needed.
Important Notes
- Any additional rings shown in photos are sold separately
- Remaining ashes will be respectfully returned with your order
- Extra preserved breastmilk is securely stored for future repairs or orders
We kindly recommend not sending your entire supply of materials, as shipping risks (while rare) can occur.
Refunds & Repairs
You may request a refund within 14 days of placing your order. After this period, all sales are final due to the custom nature of your piece.
If your jewelry is ever lost or damaged, we offer:
- 60% off a replacement piece, or
- Simple repairs at minimal cost whenever possible
